Humayun Rashid, CEO
As Managing Partner, Humayun is responsible for the business vision and technology direction for Xavor. He is also responsible for building and maintain corporate relationship with leading research universities in the United States such as UCI, Case Western and USC. As a co-founder Humayun brings an extensive background in IT-enabled business transformation and change management. Prior to founding Xavor in 1995, Humayun worked and consulted with global organization such as AST Computers, Paramount Pictures, Boeing, Standard Chartered Bank, IBM and Microsoft in areas of CRM, SCM, PLM, ERP, Knowledge Management and Human Workflow & Process Integration. His research on alignment and change management has been presented at Academy of Management (AOM2008) and Association of Information System (AMCIS2008) and he is a member of several human resource related organizations such as HROA, SHRM, HCI ASTD and NHRA. Humayun holds a Bachelor in Information Systems from the University of Texas, Austin; MBA from UC Irvine, California; and a doctorate in Management, from Case Western University, Ohio, USA.
Tathagata Dasgupta, Executive Vice President
Dr. Tathagata Dasgupta is the Executive Vice President of Xavor Corporation, where in addition to his role as a member of the leadership team, he leads the Management Consulting Services Group with a focus on Corporate Performance, Supply and Demand Chain Management, Sales & Operations Planning, and Business Intelligence solutions.
For over a decade, Dr. Dasgupta has been delivering strategic and tactical solutions for Supply and Demand Chain Management at such companies as Sony, Warner Brothers, Nokia, Mattel, Polo, Motorola, J.C. Penney, Frito Lay, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, World Commerce Online, among others. Dr. Dasgupta is an Adjunct Professor in UC Irvine where he teaches MBA courses on Supply Chain Management in business schools at UCI and the Peter Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Additionally, he chairs Doctoral Dissertation Committees on emerging models of Leadership in the School of Advanced Studies in the University of Phoenix.
Tajammal Hussain, Chief Financial Officer
Tajammal Hussain is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW), holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge (UK) and is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science - University of London (Major in Accounting & Finance). Having trained with Arthur Andersen & Co in London, he has over 18 years of post qualification experience in the fields of Business Consulting, Audit and Assurance practices and Outsourcing. Tajammal has in-depth knowledge of Business processes across various Industries including Financial Services, Information Technology, Manufacturing and has also been supervising services in respect of SOX Compliance. He has been Associated with Xavor since 1998 and has also adopted the role of a Business Consultant for our IT related projects.
Arif Ansari, Director - Professional Services
Arif Ansari is responsible for Xavor's Global Delivery Operations in Lahore, Pakistan. Arif has held technology consulting positions within US companies and organizations playing a key role in shaping and deploying enterprise applications architecture for telecomm business operations at Verizon Communication and Sprint. At Trilogy Consulting, he was part of a consulting team at Trilogy helping Ford Motor Company realize improved efficiencies from modeling product configuration build data. His early career at Pakistan was working with Descon Engineering building project management and business operations management systems and admissions decision systems at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Arif holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Houston - University Park, a Masters degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University at College Station and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas.
Arif Mahmood, Director - Technology Consulting
Arif is the Director of Technology Consulting at Xavor. He has over 10 years of work experience architecting, designing and developing multi-tier client/server and web based applications. His technology expertise spans from Java based (TIBCO, IBM, Sun) to Microsoft technologies. Arif has been at Xavor for 9 years and worked for 2 years at Software Solutions prior to that. He earned a BSc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Washington State University, followed by a Masters in Computer Science from University of Bridgeport, USA.
